Acer has  introduced update 1080p-capable notebook, called the Acer Aspire AS8943G. The new notebook is boasts a 2GB ATI Radeon 5850 GPU.

The new Acer Aspire AS8943G laptop is being added Intel Core i7 chips including up to Core i7-740QM processor, and 4GB/8GB of RAM. The Acer Aspire AS8943G series notebook is equipped with eSATA, HDMI, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and a 1.3-megapixel webcam.

Acer Aspire AS8943G notebook is sports an 18.4-inch CineCrystal edge-to-edge glass LED back-lit display with 1080p (full high-definition) resolution, and unusual dual-mode touchpad that enables switching between multi-gesture mode and media console mode.
