Acer has just launched its top-of-the line multimedia notebook family, known as the Acer Aspire AS8943G. The notebook offers completely new modern and bold industrial design that brings world-class entertainment and usability features.
Acer Aspire AS8943G powerful notebook is boasts an Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD5850 Graphics with 1GB of dedicated video memory, 4GB or 8GB RAM (up to 16GB), and a 500GB hard drive. The multimedia laptop also has brings an aluminum cover chassis, which is provides protects the seamless, frameless display, and not just looks sharp.

Acer has official announced a couple of multimedia notebooks, namely Acer Aspire AS5745 and Acer Aspire AS7745. Both notebooks are designed as portable entertainment centers, which offer cinematic entertainment on-the-go.
The Acer Aspire AS5745 has brings a 15.6-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels, an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor, 16GB of memory, up to 500 GB hard drive, and nVidia GeForce GT 330M graphics.
Acer Aspire AS7745 is sports 17.3-inch multi-touch screen display with resolution of 1600×900 pixels, an Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB of memory, up to two hard drives with total capacity of 1TB, and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 GPU with 1GB of memory.
Both Acer Aspire notebooks are equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, card reader, 1.3-megapixel webcam, Blu-ray drive, a glossy black cover, and 6-cell battery. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Acer have outed a new line of notebooks, the Acer Aspire Ethos series, which promise slick design along with multimedia performance. Two models have been announced initially, the Acer Aspire Ethos 8943G and Aspire Ethos 5943G, with a choice of Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, 18-inch 1920 x 1080 and 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 displays respectively, and ATI Mobility Radeon HD5000 graphics.There’s also Dolby Home Theater surround support, with 5.1 output, and in fact the Ethos 5943G manages to fit in a full five speakers on its own. Storage is up to 1.28TB (combining two 640GB HDDs) and there’s a choice of DVD or Blu-ray optical drives.
Connectivity includes WiFi, gigabit ethernet and Bluetooth 2.1, along with eSATA, USB, FireWire, HDMI and VGA, and there’s a fingerprint reader and webcam too. No word on prices or availability from the Italian launch today, but we’re guessing these will be premium machines.

Acer has recently presented a new limited version of the Ferrari One notebook series, which is now codenamed FO200-15 .
In terms of specifications the FO200-15 has an AMD Athlon X L1 processor at 1.GHz, and 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM memory. The graphics card is powered by an ATI Radeon HD 0 and the small 1.6-inch WXGA screen provides a HD resolution of 6×768 pixels. Other goodies include Bluetooth .1 + EDR, WiFi, and all the other extras that recent laptops have.

Acer may have dropped their plans for an e-book reader, but they are working on a new line of ultra thin notebooks that will feature the Intel Calpella platform.
This series, due to be released in the second quarter of this year, has been named the Calpella Slim.
