Acer Aspire AS5253-BZ684 with AMD Fusion Zacate APU

The Acer Aspire AS5253-BZ684 affordable laptop with an AMD Fusion “Zacate” APU can be purchased now in the US.

One of the first available “Zacate”-based notebooks features the E-350 chip that incorporates a 1.6GHz dual-core main processor, the ATI Radeon HD 6310 integrated graphics, and UVD 3 high-def video decoder.

The Aspire AS5253-BZ684 includes 3GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, DVD burner, a 6-cell battery for “up to 3 hours 20 minutes” of battery life, 1.3MP web camera, a mono speaker, 802.11n wireless, Gigabit LAN, HDMI output, three USB ports, and a 2-in-1 media card reader.

The 5.7-pound laptop runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

Acer AS5745DG 3D Notebook In Japan

Acer has introduced a new notebook that offers you another option for a 3D-supporting notebook. The AS5745DG features a 15.6-inch display with NVIDIA’s 3D Vision technology. The basic model offers you a 2.53GHz Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 640GB hard drive, HDMI output, Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi and a built-in webcam. The notebook is expected to go on sale in Japan from December 3rd and will be priced around $1200. It’s not clear if this model will be arriving stateside anytime soon, but the company’s 3D-capable 5738DG is already available, albeit with less impressive specifications.

Acer has announced its dual-screen laptop / tabletthe Acer Iconia at Acer’s Global press event in New York.

The main feature of Acer Iconia device is two 14-inch capacitive touchscreen displays with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and multitouch supported. Acer Japan will release three models of laptop computers with WiMAX built in, starting this coming Friday.

This 10.1-inch 1024×600-pixel (2007 called, etc etc) netbook comes with Windows 7 Starter, has an Intel Atom N450 processor (1.66 GHz), 1GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive; along with a webcam, SD and MMC card reader, wifi a/b/g/n and WiMAX, plus a 6-cell battery rated to last six hours. 24×258.5×185 mm, 1.25 kg (with battery). In black, white, and blue.

Acer has just expanded five laptops in the Acer Aspire AS5742 and the Acer Aspire AS5745 lineup that has brings a 15.6-inch HD LCD display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

In the Acer Aspire AS5742 family is comes in two new models: the A32 and the A52. The Acer Aspire AS5742-A32 notebook is boasts a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-370M processor and 320GB hard drive, while the Acer Aspire AS5742-A52 is powered by a 2.53GHz Intel Core i5-460M processor and a 500GB hard drive.

Taiwan-based, Acer is preparing to release a new laptop with two 15-inch touchscreen display. It will coming without hardware keyboard, but uses virtual keyboard.

Both touchscreen displays are support multitouch. The new dual touchscreen display laptop will similar design to Toshiba Libretto W100 notebook that equipped with two 7-inch displays (see picture).

According to source, this unusual Acer laptop will be sale early next year. It is boasts is a 2.67MHz Intel Core i5 processor and running on Windows 7.
