ASUS EEE PC 1015B AND 1215B FUSION NETBOOKS

At the CES 2011 event, Asus has added new Fusion powered to their Eee PC netbooks, the Asus Eee PC 1015B and the Asus Eee PC 1215B.

Both netbooks are based on AMD Brazos platform, the E-350 APU (two 1.6GHz x86 cores with Radeon HD 6310 DirectX 11 graphics accelerator).

The Asus Eee PC 1015B is pack a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, while the Asus Eee PC 1215B netbook is a 12.1-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution.

The a pair of Fusion-enhanced models, Asus 1015B and Asus 1215B are comes with up to 4GB of RAM, a 250GB/320GB hard drive, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and a 6-cell battery.

Reported, the Asus EeePC 1015B and the Asus EeePC 1215B is likely available on market later this quarter.

ASUS G53SW AND G73SW SANDY BRIDGE-POWERED GAMING NOTEBOOK

Asus has expanded its gaming laptops with Intel Sandy Bridge-equipped, the Asus G53SW and the Asus G73SW. Both Sandy Bridge-powered laptops are boasts a 2GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core processor, and an nVidia GeForce GTX 460M graphics with 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory.

The Asus G53SW notebook is packs a 15.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolutions and a single hybrid drive (up to 1TB). The Asus G73SW laptop has a 17.3-inch screen with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and twin 500GB Seagate Momentus XT hybrid drives (additional 4GB flash memory).

Asus G53SW and G73SW notebooks have a Blu-ray drive, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/b, Bluetooth, 8GB DDR3 memory, HDMI and USB 3.0 port.

The Asus G73SW notebook should be selling in some online stores priced between €1,900 and €2,050 (about $2516 to $2714). The Asus G53SW notebook is expected to be selling for cost from $1,299 with lite version. It is including a DVD writer, 640GB hard drive, and 6GB of RAM.

Asus has unveiled a new K-series notebook in European market, the Asus K52JU-SX010V. The laptop has a bright red coating and a dirt-resistant palm rest.

Asus K52JU-SX010V notebook is powered by a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3-370M processor, Intel HM55 chipset, ‘new’ Radeon HD 6370M graphics card with 512MB VRAM, 3GB of DDR3 memory, and a 320GB hard drive (SATA 5,400rpm) with Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit pre-loaded.

The mini portable computer is offers in Japan for priced at 52,800 yen and comes in three flavors – silver, black, and red. ASUS has announced the latest ultra-portable computer, the Asus U36. It is based on Intel Calpella platform, and has a dual-heatpipe cooler.

The Asus U36 notebook is packs a 13.3-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and an aluminum magnesium alloy shell that just 19mm thick and weight 1.44kg.

It is powered by Intel Core i3/i5 processor, support for nVidia Optimus technology that automatically switch between integrated graphics and dedicated graphics card. Accurate specification of graphics card of ASUS U36 is unknown yet, but probably nVidia G310M with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM.

The 4-cell battery of Asus U36 laptop is providing up to 10 hours in operation and capable to use Super Hybrid Engine mode, for extended battery life.
