ASUS EEE PC 1015B AND 1215B FUSION NETBOOKS

At the CES 2011 event, Asus has added new Fusion powered to their Eee PC netbooks, the Asus Eee PC 1015B and the Asus Eee PC 1215B.

Both netbooks are based on AMD Brazos platform, the E-350 APU (two 1.6GHz x86 cores with Radeon HD 6310 DirectX 11 graphics accelerator).

The Asus Eee PC 1015B is pack a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel, while the Asus Eee PC 1215B netbook is a 12.1-inch display with 1366 x 768 resolution.

The a pair of Fusion-enhanced models, Asus 1015B and Asus 1215B are comes with up to 4GB of RAM, a 250GB/320GB hard drive, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and a 6-cell battery.

Reported, the Asus EeePC 1015B and the Asus EeePC 1215B is likely available on market later this quarter.

Asus Japan has officially announced the availability of their AMD netbook, the Asus Eee PC 1215T that launch in early December 2010. The mini portable computer is offers in Japan for priced at 52,800 yen and comes in three flavors – silver, black, and red. In the US, the Asus Eee PC 1215T is currently available since early this month, while in European market is last month.

Asus Eee PC 1215T netbook is powered by a 1.70GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 single-core processor, AMD M880G chipset, 2GB of memory, and 320GB hard drive with Windows 7 Home Premium and ASUS Express Gate instant-on OS pre-installed.

ASUS has announced the latest ultra-portable computer, the Asus U36. It is based on Intel Calpella platform, and has a dual-heatpipe cooler.

The Asus U36 notebook is packs a 13.3-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and an aluminum magnesium alloy shell that just 19mm thick and weight 1.44kg.

It is powered by Intel Core i3/i5 processor, support for nVidia Optimus technology that automatically switch between integrated graphics and dedicated graphics card. Accurate specification of graphics card of ASUS U36 is unknown yet, but probably nVidia G310M with 1 GB of DDR3 RAM.

The 4-cell battery of Asus U36 laptop is providing up to 10 hours in operation and capable to use Super Hybrid Engine mode, for extended battery life.

Asus has started selling its new AMD netbook, the Asus Eee PC 1215T, which was introduced in European market a few weeks ago but now also found in the US.

The Asus Eee PC 1215T netbook is already available in the US market over Newegg for price of $424.99. The netbook is comes in two color options – silver (Asus Eee PC 1215T-MU17-SL) and black (Asus Eee PC 1215T-MU17-BK).

Asus Eee PC 1215T netbook is powered by a 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor, 2GB of RAM, Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics, and a 320GB hard drive with extra 500GB cloudy storage.

New Asus EeePC 1215T netbook is packs a 12.1-inch LED backlit display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, 10/100 Ethernet LAN, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, SD/MMC card slot, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 5200 mAh battery for up to 7 hours of run time.
