Gateway, the Acer subsidiary, has recently released new notebook namely the Gateway NV59C66u. The main feature of this laptop is providing both WiMAX and Wi-Fi module.

Gateway is started selling new ID series notebook in Canada, called the Gateway ID79. The notebook is based on Intel platform and has a 17.3-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels.
The Gateway ID79 laptop comes with an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 640 GB hard drive, and 6GB of memory (up to 16GB). The new ID79 can pack a nVidia GeForce GT 330M discrete graphics card, optical drive, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a multiformat card reader, and HDMI port for connecting an external monitor or HDTV.
The thickness of the Gateway ID79 is about 38 mm and weighs approximately 3.25 kg. The Gateway ID79 notebook is pre-loaded with Windows 7. The Gateway ID79 has price of CAD $1049.99.
Gateway has also offering another ID series laptops for Canadian market, the Gateway ID49 and the Gateway ID59.
