The Bangalore-based company, VXL Instruments has officially announced two new virtualisation-ready laptop that collaboration with Lenovo. They are including the VXL TL100 and the VXL TL412. It is designed for integration of thin client notebooks into a wide variety of IT end user environments.The entry-level VXL TL100 packs an 11.6-inch display size and boasts a 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo processor. The higher-grade VXL TL412 notebook has a 14.1-inch screen size and powered by a 1.86GHz Intel Celeron Dual-Core processor. Both VXL notebooks are equipped with 1GB of RAM and 1GB flash storage.It is pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows XPe, Windows Embedded (WES) or Linux OS. The VXL TL100 and TL412 will be available in Q4 2010.

The Chinese company, Lenovo recently launches new version of Intel-powered notebook in Taiwan, known as the Lenovo ThinkPad X201i. The new feature of this laptop is support Intel Wireless Display, also known as WiDi. The technology allows users to transfer an image from computer to HDTV via a wireless connection, for receiving signal is requires a special TV console.

At a press event in Beijing, the Chinese Company, Lenovo has showcased its laptop, namely Lenovo IdeaPad Z460.
It packs a 14-inch display with resolution 1366×768 pixel and pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Basic OS.
Lenovo IdeaPad Z460 laptop is powered by a 2.13GHz Intel Core i3-330M processor (high-end configuration uses Intel Core i5) and an Intel HM55 Express chipset. This laptop is equipped with an ATI Radeon HD 5145 GPU with 512MB VRAM, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive (7200 rpm), and 1.3-megapixel webcam.

Lenovo presented the IdeaPad Y560 at CES 2010 which took place earlier this year, and after a few months the laptop will finally become available for purchase in Japan.

Lenovo has announced its ThinkPad L series laptops, called Lenovo ThinkPad L412 and Lenovo ThinkPad L512.
It is designed for business, government and education customers with high performance feature and military tough durability in an affordable laptop.
Lenovo ThinkPad L series are among the most “green” design in the market, up to 30% of materials used in the top/bottom case, LCD cover, palm rests, and areas for hands are obtained in recycling including plastic water bottles.
Lenovo ThinkPad L series will be offered in Intel Celeron, Core i3 and Core i5 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 500GB hard drive. The Lenovo ThinkPad L412 and L512 notebook has a 14-inch and 15-inch HD antiglare display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels and LED backlight, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G/4G or WiMAX module with Gobi 2000 module support for AT&T, Sprint and Verizon.
Other feature of Lenovo ThinkPad L412 and L512 are a 7-in-1 card reader, four USB ports, choices of Intel integrated or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145 graphics, and up to 8 hours of battery life. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 OS.
