The MSI Wind U160 netbook is first introduced almost a year ago. Now, the new version of MSI Wind U160 is called the MSI Wind U160MX.

The new netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N455 single-core or Atom N550 dual-core processor, up to 2GB DDR3 memory, Intel NM10 chipset, Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, and a 160GB or higher 2.5-inch SATA hard drive with Windows Starter Edition 7 OS pre-loaded.

The MSI Wind U160MX netbook is packs 10-inch glossy LED backlit display with 1024×600 pixel (WSVGA) resolution, Bluetooth 2.1, Intel HD audio with microphone and stereo speakers, Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and optional 3G/4G. It is also brings a new brushed-metal style paint job with a silver black color flavor.

New MSI Wind U160MX netbook is equipped with three USB 2.0 and VGA ports, and a 2-in-1 Memory Card Reader (SD/MMC). Dimensions of MSI Wind U160MX are 265 x 165 x 19.8 to 24.5 mm and weight 1kg (with 3-cell battery).
