Fujitsu has made a good impression with their range of its netbook sized tablet convertible, called the Fujitsu Lifebook T580. It is a dual-digitizer – stylus and touch – display for tablet usage. The new netbook is also comes with a fancy Berliner glass display.

The Fujitsu Lifebook T580 convertible tablet has sports an Intel Core i5 processor, a 10.1-inch display, GPS, battery with up to 8 hour of use, and optional 3G. The upcoming Fujitsu Lifebook T580 has weight 1.4kg and will be available on late Q2 2010.

LENOVO IDEAPAD S10-3 NETBOOK GETS ATOM N550

Lenovo is preparing to release an updated version of their netbook, known as the Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 (model number of 06475CM). The new netbook is based on the latest Intel processor. It is one of Lenovo’s netbook with Atom N550 processor.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 is boasts a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor that instead of Atom N450 single-core chips. New Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 netbook has already listed on Australia online store and has price range from $499 to $624 depending on configuration. It will be available starts September 7, 2010.

The new Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 can packs a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of DDR3 RAM, 1.3 megapixel webcam, multiformat memory card reader, Bluetooth 2.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. It is pre-installed with Windows 7 Starter OS.

CherryPal Asia Android netbook

CherryPal is preparing to release another $99 netbook/smartbook, called CherryPal Asia.

Previously, CherryPal had introduced $99 netbook in December last year called CherryPal Africa. It sports a 400MHz processor and runs Windows CE or Linux. Now, the CherryPal Asia is added Google Android 1.6 OS and powered by a 533MHz ARM9 ARM Cortex A9-based processor.

CherryPal Asia netbook/smatbook packs 2GB of flash storage, 256MB of RAM, three USB 2.0 ports, and a 7 inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution.

The CherryPal also has offers a 10.1-inch display version with price tag $148.

The Hewlett-Packard (HP) is now preparing to release its HP Mini 210 netbook in configurations based around Intel’s yet unannounced.

New HP Mini 210 netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor with Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics and 1GB DDR3 RAM 1066MHz. Furthermore, the HP Mini 210 netbook is equipped with 250GB hard drive, a 10.1-inch LED backlight display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels.

It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter and comes in two color options – black and silver. Price of new HP Mini 210 is 349 euro and it will be ship in a month.

NEC has added its LaVie family of notebook, called NEC LaVie Light. It provides WiMAX and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n connection. This netbook is comes in two models, BL530 and BL350.

High-end NEC LaVie Light BL530 is powered by a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 CPU, NM10 Express chipset, 2GB of memory, and a 320GB hard drive. It has a 10.1-inch LED backlight display with WXGA resolution.

It is equipped with three USB 2.0 ports, SDXC memory card slot, Ethernet, and D-Sub. Size of NEC LaVie Light is 258×212.6×27.5~36.9mm and weighs approximately 1.36kg. Its battery is provides up to 8.4 hours of use. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit OS.
