Along with Lenovo IdeaPad S100 Pine Trail netbook, Lenovo has also introduced another IdeaPad S series netbook, the Lenovo IdeaPad S205. Unlike the Lenovo S100 netbook, the Lenovo S205 is boasting AMD Brazos platform, the 1.6 GHz E-350 dual-core APU.

Lenovo S205 netbook is packs a 11.6-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 750GB hard drive, and Radeon HD 6310 graphics with DirectX 11-supporting and 512MB of memory. The Lenovo IdeaPad S205 AMD netbook is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium OS and equipped with a 0.3/1.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, a 6-in-1 card reader, stereo speakers, and optional 3G. It has also 98% full-size AccuType keyboard.

Dimensions of Lenovo S205 are 270 x 168 x 16-28.5 mm and weighs 2.2 pounds. The Lenovo IdeaPad S205 netbook will be available in March 2011.

LENOVO IDEAPAD S100 PINE TRAIL NETBOOK

Lenovo has announced a new IdeaPad S series netbook, the Lenovo S100. The new netbook is based on Intel Pine Trail platform and pack a 98% full-size AccuType keyboard.

New Lenovo S100 netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor, up to 2GB of DDR3 memory, an Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, and up to a 320GB hard drive with Windows 7 Home Basic pre-installed. The Lenovo S100 Pine Trail netbook is sports a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display, 2-in-1 card reader, a 2 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth 2.1, stereo speakers, and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi.

Dimensions of Lenovo S100 netbook are 280×15~20.2×174 mm and weight about 2.2 pounds. The Lenovo IdeaPad S100 netbook should be available in March 2011 with starting price of $329.

GIGABYTE Q2005 DUAL-CORE NETBOOK

The Taiwanese company, Gigabyte Technology has just expanded its netbook lineup with the Gigabyte Q2005. The new netbook is powered by a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor with Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics.

Gigabyte Q2005 is comes in high-end features such as 250GB/320GB/500GB SATA hard drive (5400rpm), 1GB/2GB DDR3 memory, and optional Bluetooth 3.0, as well as a 3-cell or 6-cell battery.

The Gigabyte Q2005 dual-core netbook packs a 8-in-1 card reader, Mobile Intel NM10 Express Chipsets, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 1.5Wx2 speakers, 0.3 megapixel webcam, and a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It is pre-installed with Windows 7 Starter or Home Premium OS.

ACER ASPIRE ONE 522 AMD BRAZOS-BASED NETBOOK

Acer is preparing release their first mobile solution based on AMD Brazos platform, the Acer Aspire One 522 in early next year.

It is reported that the new Acer Brazos-powered netbook is boasts a 1.0GHz AMD C-50 (Ontario) chip that sports two Bobcat x86 cores, and Radeon HD 6250 integrated graphics that supports DirectX 11 API.

The upcoming Acer Aspire One 522 netbook has brings a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, HDMI output for an external monitor or TV. There are webcam, mono speaker, and a 6-cell battery, which enabling up to 6 hours of runtime.

The price of Acer Aspire One 522 Brazos netbook is not reported at moment, but likely more specs to be revealed at CES 2011.

Computer Technology Link (CTL) has expanded its ruggedized netbook for students, the CTL 2go Classmate PC E11. The new netbook is targeted for the education market.

CTL 2go Classmate PC E11 rugged netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N455 processor, 1GB of RAM (up to 2GB), and 160GB hard drive or 30GB to 512GB SSD. New 2go Classmate PC E11 mini-laptop is packs a 10.1-inch display (likely resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels), 1.3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, and optional 3G mobile broadband.

The CTL 2go Classmate PC E11 netbook sports a shock-mounted hard drive that enabling prevents damage, a water resistant display and keyboard, a retractable handle for carrying, and up to 4.5 hours of battery life.

It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional OS.

ACER ASPIRE ONE 721 WITH AMD NEO K145

In the Czech Republic, Acer is show product listed a new version of the Acer Aspire One 721 that based on unannounced AMD K145 CPU.

According to source, the AMD Neo K145 has similar a few specs with the AMD Neo K125 chip including 1MB of L2 cache and a 12W total power draw but single core K125 chip has 1.7GHz clock speed, while the K145 is 1.8GHz.

The other specifications of Acer Aspire One 721 netbook have not changed. The Acer AO721 packs an ATI Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 1.3MP webcam, a 6-cell battery, and 11.6-inch display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

At the IT Month 2010, BenQ has presented their netbook with a 1-year global warranty, the BenQ Joybook U105. The netbook is selling for $330 taxes.

The BenQ Joybook U105 is powered by an Intel Atom N450/N470 processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, and pre-installed with Windows 7 Starter OS.

New BenQ U105 is also pack enhanced SRS Trusurround HD and CS Headphone audio technology, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA, 4-in-1 card reader, Ethernet, WiFi, and web cam.

Toshiba will sell their latest netbook, the Toshiba DynaBook N300 in Japan on December 10th, 2010. The new netbook sports a 10.1-inch display with a native resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and high quality Harman/Kardon speakers. It is comes in three flavors – Cocoa brown, lime green, and orange.

Toshiba DynaBook N300 netbook is powered by a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM (expandable to 2GB), and 250GB hard drive with Windows 7 Starter pre-installed.
